P. Vannucci Middle School: Historical Integration and Modernity

The Equitone Fiber Cement Envelope: A Dialogue Between Material and Urban Fabric

In the heart of Città della Pieve, VM Group oversaw the construction of approximately 800 square meters of ventilated façade for the "P. Vannucci" State Middle School. The main challenge of this project was the delicate balance between the need for modernization and a profound respect for the Umbrian historical context.

Landscape Engineering: Customization and Technical Rigor

The project was designed to integrate into the urban fabric without sacrificing Class A1 performance.

Technical Specifications of the Project:

  • Equitone Custom Fiber Cement: We used fiber cement panels in completely custom colors and sizes. This choice allowed us to faithfully respect the original architectural design, interpreting the mineral material in shades that harmonize with the city's existing historical features.

  • Precision Mechanical Fixing: The exposed fastening system with stainless steel rivets was installed with pinpoint precision. The pattern of the fasteners enhances the façade with a clean geometric texture, lending character to the structure without weighing it down.

  • Total Safety with Siderise: In line with our standards for school buildings, we have integrated Siderise fire barriers. This ensures excellent passive fire protection, essential for the safety of students and staff.

  • Efficiency and Indoor Comfort: Thanks to the ventilated cavity and high-density insulation, the building has achieved a drastic improvement in its internal microclimate, reducing heat loss and ensuring healthy and quiet learning environments.

VM Group: Thirty Years of Experience Serving Public Heritage

The construction of the Vannucci School confirms VM Group's ability to operate in protected and prestigious contexts. We have transformed a middle school into a safe, long-lasting, and perfectly integrated building, demonstrating that Equitone fiber cement is the ideal material for leading our schools into the future, while respecting our history.

1,500 m2 of Mineral Innovation: The Fiber Cement Envelope for Healthcare

Crema Hospital: Efficiency and Safety on a Large Scale

At Crema Hospital, VM Group completed a major technical renovation project, creating over 1,500 square meters of fiber cement ventilated façade. In a healthcare setting, the choice of material is critical: fiber cement guarantees the highest standards of fire resistance, durability, and hygiene, essential requirements for public facilities.

Protection Engineering: Aesthetic Rigour and Total Safety

The challenge was to combine a significant surface area with the pinpoint precision required by healthcare protocols.

Technical Specifications of the Project:

  • 1,500 square meter fiber cement surface: Managing such a large volume transformed the hospital's image, giving it a sober, modern, and professional look, capable of withstanding wear and tear and weathering without deterioration.

  • "Tone-on-Tone" Mechanical Fixing: The installation was performed with exposed rivets painted in a RAL color matching the panels. This solution guarantees the maximum mechanical safety typical of exposed systems, while maintaining an extremely clean and uncluttered visual impact.

  • Non-combustibility and Fire Barriers: Since fiber cement is a non-combustible mineral material, we created an active protective shield. The systematic integration of fire barriers within the cavity increases passive safety levels for patients and staff.

  • Flatness and Energy Performance: Thanks to our thirty years of experience, we ensured perfect flatness across the entire façade. The ventilated system ensures constant thermal comfort, drastically reducing the hospital's energy consumption.

Technical Partner for Public Healthcare

The Crema project confirms VM Group as a leader in the creation of large-scale building envelopes. We delivered a safe, energy-efficient, and low-maintenance structure, demonstrating that the strength of fiber cement is the ultimate solution for buildings that must serve the community over time.

Pieve Emanuele Residential Complex: Large-Scale Urban Evolution

3,000 m2 of Mineral Envelope: Solidity and Performance for Contemporary Living

In Pieve Emanuele, VM Group completed one of its most impressive residential projects, creating over 3,000 square meters of fiber cement ventilated façade. This project represents the perfect synthesis of aesthetic regeneration and efficiency engineering, transforming a massive complex into a modern, safe, and long-lasting building.

Large-Volume Engineering: Durability and Visual Rigour

Managing a construction site of this scale demonstrates VM Group's operational solidity in coordinating industrial volumes without ever losing sight of the precision of detail.

Technical Specifications of the Project:

  • Monumental Fiber Cement Surface: The choice of a mineral material for over 3,000 square meters guarantees a modern and rigorous aesthetic that resists the aging typical of traditional finishes in metropolitan contexts.

  • Coordinated Mechanical Fixing: We implemented an exposed rivet system, painted in a RAL color coordinated with the panels. This solution combines the extreme mechanical safety required for large surfaces with a fluid and orderly visual impact.

  • Radical Energy Upgrade: Thanks to the active ventilation chamber and continuous insulation, we have ensured a drastic reduction in energy consumption for the entire complex, enhancing residents' living comfort in all seasons.

  • Integrated Fire Safety: Given the scale of the project, the integration of fire barriers was managed with rigorous protocols, ensuring total passive protection and compliance with the latest safety regulations for multi-story buildings.

VM Group: Leader in Major Urban Redevelopment

The Pieve Emanuele project demonstrates our ability to transform the face of metropolitan suburbs. With VM Group, large-scale redevelopment becomes an opportunity to restore property value and quality of life, ensuring a durable building envelope capable of standing the test of time with the reliability of our thirty years of experience.

Mineral Shield for Wine: Thermal Efficiency and Prestige in Fiber Cement

Morellino di Scansano Winery: Architecture and Functionality

In the heart of the Maremma region of Tuscany, VM Group designed the cladding for the historic Cantina del Morellino di Scansano. The project involved the construction of a ventilated fiber cement façade covering approximately 400 square meters, combining the needs of a modern production facility with the material aesthetics required by a prestigious territory.

Microclimate Engineering: Protecting Excellence

In a place where temperature control is a fundamental asset for product preservation, the ventilated façade becomes an ally of production.

Technical Specifications of the Project:

  • Active Thermal Shield: The air gap created by the ventilated system acts as a thermal buffer, protecting the storage and fermentation rooms from the extreme temperature variations of the Tuscan summer. This ensures a stable microclimate, reducing reliance on mechanical cooling systems.

  • Mineral Texture Fiber Cement: We chose a material that evokes the solidity of the earth. The understated, matte finish of the fiber cement allows the structure to blend in with the surrounding landscape, harmoniously integrating with the colors of the Maremma.

  • Exposed Mechanical Fixing: The installation was performed with an exposed rivet system, a choice that emphasizes the industrial and functional nature of the winery, ensuring impeccable structural stability and decades-long durability.
